Global CEO

James founded Cambridge Commodities in 1998 and has built the business to a $36 million global company employing 100+ staff from all over the world. James is passionate about ingredients, innovation and providing a personalised service to customers. He thrives on bringing exciting new concepts to market and is the driving force behind the global expansion of Cambridge Commodities. James enjoys spending quality time with his family and attending Taylor Swift concerts with colleagues and clients.

Neil Hammill

Vice President of Sales

Neil has a solid background in sales, marketing and finance and has held several director positions in his professional career. A highlight of Neil’s time at Cambridge Commodities is bringing the Hippeas chickpea snack brand to market, including a roll out to Starbucks and Wholefoods stores in the USA and UK. In addition to enjoying time with his family, Neil is a cycling enthusiast and has been known to take part in the odd triathlon.

Hannah Akers

Regional Sales Manager (East)

Originally from Alabama, Hannah joined Cambridge Commodities’ UK sales team in 2014. With a background in sales, marketing and design, Hannah thrives on finding creative solutions for clients. She loves experimenting with ingredients and creating healthier versions of much-loved American classics – her vegan pecan pie is amazing! In her spare time, Hannah maintains a photography blog and enjoys all things outdoors.

Brogan Burnett

Regional Sales Manager (West)

Born and raised in Cambridge, England, Brogan’s professional background is in marketing and sales, with a focus on account management. She is passionate about delivering outstanding customer service, building relationships and providing innovative solutions to meet client needs. Brogan is knowledgeable about ingredients for the ready-to-drink and beauty from within sectors. In her free time, Brogan enjoys downhill skiing and horse riding; she has been placed several times in national show jumping competitions with her horse, Melon.

Ian Mitchell

Secretary and Global CFO

Ian has an extensive background as a chartered accountant and has held director positions in his professional career. He is responsible for the financial control of the Cambridge Commodities group. Ian is a keen cyclist and enjoys spending quality time with his family.
